Lawyers for actress January Jones threaten Fathers4Justice over campaign
Lawyers for the actress January Jones, Harbottle & Lewis, have written to Fathers4Justice putting them on notice that it would be wrong for them to continue with their Hollywood billboard campaign, which features the actress on one of their posters.
John Kelly at Harbottles wrote to F4J to say, “You are on notice…it would be wrong to proceed to continue with the campaign using a falsified statement.”
Harbottles denies Ms Jones said the words “It’s better for my son that I am raising him without a father”.
F4J say that some online articles have been edited to remove these comments and that their campaign will accurately reflect Ms Jones extreme views which they say are ‘fatherphobic’.
F4J have offered to replace her original quote with the following post from Ms Jones Instagram account:
“WOMEN ARE A SUPERIOR SPECIES TO MEN. MEN ARE THERE TO SERVE WOMEN. WOMEN ARE ALLOWED TO FEEL UP AND DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE LIKE THE MOON AND GO THRU DIFFERENT PHASES. MEN SHOULD ACT LIKE THE SUN, SHINE STRONG 247/365 AND SERVE WOMEN INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE LITTLE BITCHES WITH VAGINAS”
