as you know maintenance and visitation are completely separate issues here in England. the Mum does have total power and will use it.
Remain calm. keep the closest relationship with your daughter as you can -at 4 it is hard. Perhaps phone calls until court or Skype?
Here is something the judge/court may discuss: have you arranged your own visitation plan prior to the hearing – you may be able to suggest this to the mother? perhaps she and you can arrange a plan that can be agreed at court? this will save time later.

England is a sad and cruel place for foreign dads. My ex would be in jail for what she has done in our home country.

9 years separated from my girls – now the judge has taken the girls thoughts into account – I have been allowed to send letters once a month. I’ve been though almost every aspect of court and anger and disbelief and pain. I will help if I can.

I am in the same boat. Joined last week. was expecting something else too…
I have been representing myself for years, perhaps I can help?

My issue is more of Parental Alienation after 9 years of missing my girls. Communication has begun again (for me) with social media, but only for giving gift and taking abuse form someone who may a may not be my daughter.
