Is there no current court order in place?

Typically the parent that the child resides with can take the child out of the country for up to 28 days without permission of the other parent or a court order. Nothing you can do to stop it and very few judges are going to put an order in place that prevents them from doing so unless she is a non UK national and a real risk of flight.

Sadly you have no right to know where she takes the child. Only after 28 days can you inform the police that the child has been illegally removed.

If you kick up a stink at the school then the teachers and head are going to view you less favourably.

It is tough but bite your tongue on this one. You need to save your energy for the bigger fight which is to regain contact during school time.

Never heard much out of the F4J people. Just the odd email. Might be worth contacting Bobby Smith and seeing if Elmo from Sesame street would want in (he seems to have perfected crashing prime ministers photo ops).

Did you see the guest list/ invitees? It is ministers, heads of service and Cafcass big chiefs. It would be possible to get pictures of them, put them onto boards with “wanted for abuse of children” and then picket their meeting.

Everytime these arseholes meet we should be outside reminding them of the people whose lives they ruin

How about Cafcass Headquarters in Bloomsbury? Wear F4J shirts and let their staff and other government agencies in the building run the gauntlet of angry fathers.

If only we had someone on the inside who knew when the minister or secretary of state was doing an official visit.

They typically bury all complaints. Cover for their staff and do little to investigate.

The cafcass report on my kids was shambolic. The cafcass officer dated it from the year before and then repeated that error throughout the report. I suggested to the judge that she had worked from a previous report or template and just changed names. The judge agreed.

There were also so many factual errors. She claimed I had a good family network who would do supervised access. This claim was made without ever contacting my family who all refused to join in the farcical supervision of me.

There were just so many gaps in the cafcass officers knowledge but she was not put off and just fabricated details and submitted them to court. Lies that were then exposed in court.

The first time around the judge dismissed the cafcass recommendation. 2nd hearing 4 months later and the opposing barrister threw a strop and said it was almost unheard of for a judge to rule against a cafcass report twice and he bowed to pressure.

The whole report was a joke. Even my ex’s barrister described it as “hollow”.

No apology from Cafcass though when I submitted a complaint. Sub standard reports submitted to court are clearly standard practice.

I am open to protests outside any office. Banners with figures on how they are the worst violators of children in the UK. Shine a torch on them

Minimum payment is much higher now under the CMS. £7-8 a week or £39 a month. Crippling amount if you are on job seekers allowance.

You have by law to inform the CMS of any change in occupation. Get on the phone to them right away as I am sure they will only make the adjustment from the day you tell them.

My accountancy company refused to even discuss how to reduce child support. They did not want to get a reputation for aiding fathers going limited to minimise payment.

Every divorced father needs a limited company to move assets and money over to. I average 50% more in income than I ever made as a permanent employee and it is invested so that I can pay my kids direct when they no longer live with their mother.

I have only ever been assessed on salary. No further investigation. They took the £472 a month salary figure and CSA calculated £5 a week and CMS have upped that to £7 a week for two children.

No fancy accounting. Just limited company and minimal salary. Has kept child support off my back for 5+ years and saved me no end of stress.

Wow. Just getting posters out publicising meetings would be good. I work sporadically in and out of the NHS and even with 1 million co workers I have never seen much on offer for fathers. Only thing I see are the domestic violence against women info that always stick to the same presumption of male aggressor and controller.

Maybe I could offer it as a mental health thing. Reaching out to newly separated fathers who are borderline suicidal. The divorce rates amongst clinical staff is high.

That is quite something to pull off. Most organisations would be wary about “MRA” groups but there is a real need for localised support.

Two years ago before I was slapped down with a section 91, I was very open and vocal at work about my court proceedings. Off the back of that I had 3 different fathers in the same office come to me with stories of 0 contact and wanting to know how to apply to court without using legal professionals.

I booked out meeting rooms and met with them during lunch and ran them through the forms and told them what to expect.

Too many men out there suffering in silence.

Does anyone know? How do you get access to the returning officer announcing the result? Is it open to just anyone or party members, campaign team, tellers and journalists only? A silent protest but with visible F4J shirts jumping into shot during the returning officer reading out the result could be good.

Definetly worth the trip to Maidenhead next Thursday to cheer him on when he takes to the stage. The security team around the PM will all be so jumpy. How do you get access to the polling station where the acceptance speeches are given with all the media scrum and journalists there?
